Omar AbdulRahman Al-Abbasi Senior Reservoir Engineer, Safer Exploration Republic Of Yemen
Mr. Al Abbasi received a. B.S in petroleum engineering from The King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals (K.F.U.P.M), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in January 1990. He is a member of SPE, and the Yemeni Engineers Society of Petroleum Companies. Has 20 years of petroleum engineering experience mainly in reservoir engineering area with several major independent oil companies. Currently he is working with the first leading Yemeni national Oil Company, Safer Exploration & Production Operations Oil Company (SEPOC) as a senior reservoir engineer. Reservoir engineering, integrated reservoir studies, field development studies, responsibility for conducting in house FFDS with a focus on dynamic modeling are among Mr. Al Abbasi many areas of expertise. In addition to vast experience with application of traditional reservoir engineering techniques including performance curve analysis, volumetric analysis, material balance calculations, PVT analysis, gas deliverability, pressure surveillances & analysis, Mr. Al Abbasi has routinely worked in planning, conducting and supervising production logging (PLT) programs along with validating and analyzing the test results. Azmi Al-Said Khreisat Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Hashemite Kingdom
Azmi Al-Said Khreisat was the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan until November of 2006. Under his leadership the comprehensive restructuring of the country's power sector was completed, the reform of the petroleum sector was designed and initiated, the natural gas supply agreement between Jordan and Egypt was concluded, and a 393 km pipeline was built on a BOOT basis.
Mr. Khreisat holds a B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, Russia (January 1982) and a M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK (December 1984). He is a UK Chartered Engineer and a Senior Member of the IEEE (USA). Between 1984 and 1996, he worked as transmission line and planning engineer at the National Electric Power Company of Jordan, as Head of its Technical Studies. From 1996 to 2001 he was the Director of the Industrial Energy Department of the Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the Secretary General until 2003, the Jordan refinery manager then he became the Minister (October 2003-November 2006) Among others, he served in the following leadership positions in Jordan's energy sector during the dynamic restructuring and privatization process in recent years:

After teaching Mathematics at the University of Alabama and Mississippi, Dr.Miller joined the Oil and Gas Industry in 1975 with Texaco in their Geophysical Research Group. He subsequently left Texaco in 1980 and worked in interpretation for independent Natomas. He then joined Tenneco in 1981 and remained with Tenneco until their International Division was purchased in 1988 by BG Group. He then served as Country Manager for BG Egypt from 1989-98 before moving to the BG head office in London. Mohammad Al-Howqal is a well known figure in the petroleum industry both in Kuwait and internationally. He is currently the Chief Operations Officer of Kuwait Energy Company (KEC). Ph.D. degree awarded in 1984 from the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald (Germany) and awarded his DSc. Degree in December 2000 (Dr. rer. nat. habil.) from the same university. Fulbright Scholarship, scientific research concerning sedimentary basins of Yemen and their hydrocarbon potential at the Energy and Geoscience Institute, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA (2003/2004). Join the Petroleum Exploration and Production Authority in 2000 and since 2004 he is the General Manger of Studies and Research, as well as the Chairman of the Yemen Stratigraphic Commission, Ministry of Oil and Minerals (2000 to present). Abdulla Al-Qadi is one of the most distinctive UAE locals in the oil and gas industry in the UAE. He started his career with Abu Dhabi National Petroleum Company (ADNOC) immediately after graduating in 1990 from NMT in New Mexico, USA with a Bachelors degree in petroleum engineering. Pete Skelley has worked for 20 Years in Petrochemicals for BP and latterly INEOS, before joining the GASCITIES project in Oct 2008 as Industrial Development Manager. In November 2009 he was promoted to Projects Director with responsibility for all projects in the MENA region. At INEOS, Pete was Business Development manager responsible for Mergers and Acquisitions and off-site project development. Dr. Ravi Singh is an Exploration Manager in the international E&P business of Reliance industries of India (REPdmcc) for last 3 years. He holds Ph. Albertus Retnanto Ph.D. Principal Engineer and Stimulation Domain Manager Schlumberger
Albertus Retnanto is a Principal Engineer and Stimulation Domain Manager, with Schlumberger Oilfield Services, presently posted to Doha, Qatar. He is also a Visiting Associate Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University at Qatar. He has more than 13 years experience with Schlumberger in production optimization and enhancement. - I have worked with oil search Yemen as a Petrophysicist /Geologist since April 2003 which, I have done:
- Study and log interpretation for the old (10) wells of blocks 35 and 15which spend 3 months at Sydney office to achieve this project.
- Log analysis for the new (4) wells in blocks 35 and 15 and prepared the final petrophysical report for block 35.
- Worked as a client observer for the log running and wireline log tools quality control in Al-Magrabah-1 and Reeb-1 wells in block 35.
- Participated in blocks 43, 48 wells logs interpretation.
- Worked as a petrophysicist and night wellsite geologist with oil search in Egypt – Ras Ghrib field during drill the NW Shuker-1 well (2008).
- Interpreted block 3 old (8) wells logs and prepared the block 3 wells petrophysical interpretation paper which, I presented it in the block3 workshop and TCM on March last year at Sydney office.
- Interpreted block 7 old (6) wells logs and prepared the block 7 wells petrophysical interpretation paper that been presented in the block7 workshop and TCM on June last year in London.
- Prepared the final Petrophysical report for each well either old and new in blocks 3 and 7.
- Log analysis for the new (2) wells in blocks 3 and 7 and prepared the final Petrophysical report for both blocks.
- Participated in blocks 86, 85 evaluations by done short geological and Petrophysical evaluation papers.

- I have worked with (PEPA) as Geologist for 5 years from 1998 to 2003,which during that period I was following the field operation as geologist , in Marib and Hadramout fields in additional to the office activity as log analysis ,exploration wells evaluation and basins / fields analysis.
